Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)
Asterdale Primary School is an inclusive school and seeks to ensure that all children receive an entitlement to equal opportunities, experiences and respect, regardless of their culture, gender, ability or additional need.
Children may have a requirement to receive extra help during their time in school. This can be considered as a Special Educational Need and may fit within one of four categories:
- communication and interaction
- cognition and learning
- social, emotional and mental health
- sensory and/or physical
If you require further information, please do contact our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator Mrs Jenny McCormick at school (tel 01332 662323).
